What is the best anesthesia method for circumcision? Comparison of local and general anesthesia: Prospective clinical study

Objective: It was aimed to compare the methods of local anesthesia and general with circumcision study questionnaire applied before after circumcision. Material Methods: Parents children aged 0-12 years who for between June December 2021 agreed participate in were asked fill out questionnaire. All patients operated same surgeon surgical method. Patients divided into groups, data compared. Results: Our included 282 patients; 132 (48.9%), 144 (51.1%). Age weight averages administered age preferences suitable significantly lower than those group (p:0.001). There no significant difference socioeconomic levels, educational status reasons both groups (p≥0.05). Patients’ need postoperative care recovery time Conclusion: Circumcision is a operation that can be performed safely or anesthesia. want early months life mostly prefer Postoperative shorter this group. Preference has changed favor advanced ages, including sexual development period. The knowledge awareness level our society about increased compared previous years.
